ABOUT ME
I’m Nastasya, a multidisciplinary traveling tattoo artist known as Poko a Poko, specializing in elegant ornamental tattoos inspired by jewelry, body armor and fashion. My work is a blend of fine art and personal expression with each design created with intention to complement your body and story.
What truly defines my practice is the experience I create. I take the time to listen deeply to your vision and intentions, ensuring that the tattoo we design together is a true reflection of you. This collaborative process is at the heart of my artistry. I move thoughtfully and patiently—perfecting the stencil placement and continuously tuning in to your comfort.
MY STORY
Inspired by the traditional methods of tattooing that emphasize intention and intimacy, I began tattooing as a way to connect to others during my travels.
As a nomadic tattoo artist working across North, South and Central America, I’ve refined my style and craft alongside my personal and spiritual growth. Living in Guatemala and connecting with diverse cultures has profoundly shaped my artistry, deepening my respect for storytelling through body art.
Wherever I am, my commitment remains the same: to provide tattoos that feel like lasting adornments—crafted with care, designed to become part of you.
Starting as a hand-poke artist, I embraced this gentle technique, valuing its slower pace and the deep connection it fosters between artist and client.
MY PRACTICE
Today, I blend traditional hand-poke techniques with modern machine tattooing—choosing the method that best suits each design and client. Hand-poke allows for a more intimate, intentional experience and is less abrasive on the body, while machine work offers efficiency and precision for larger or more intricate pieces.
I am especially inspired by the female form and committed to creating a safe, nurturing space where women can feel fully comfortable receiving permanent body art. My approach is gentle, professional, and rooted in care.
With a background in fashion, design, and science, I bring a unique blend of creativity and understanding of the body to every tattoo I create.
