THE ARTIST
My name is Nastasya, a Tennessee native who left to explore what the world had to offer.
I have always been one to follow my heart, and through a winding road of trial and tribulation, it led me to prolonged travels in South and Central America. In my travels, I came back to myself, and I uncovered the little artist yearning to create again.
In those years, I found a new direction - the sacred art of handpoke tattooing. Surrounded by creative volcanic energy, sacred fire ceremonies and traditions, and rich and colorful Mayan art, my practice was birthed, shaped, and refined.
As my practice grows, something within me calls me back to my country to share my art in the slow and peaceful ways that village life has taught me.
What I crave most upon arrival is community. Others whose views are expansive, but their spirits are grounded. Women who inspire and lift one another to become the best version of themselves - the only version we are really asked to become.
Starting as a hand-poke artist, I embraced this gentle technique, valuing its slower pace and the deep connection it fosters .
THE PRACTICE
My practice began with handpoke, a technique that chose me as much as I chose it. There is something in the slowness of it, the connection, that set the tone for everything that followed.
Today I work with both handpoke and machine, selected deliberately for each piece based on design, placement, and what the moment calls for. Handpoke brings intimacy and presence. Machine work brings precision where the work demands it. The method is never arbitrary — it is always in service of the outcome.
I am particularly drawn to working with women and the female form. My space is designed to feel safe, unhurried, and nurturing because permanent body art deserves to be received that way.
My background in fashion, design, and the sciences informs the way I see proportion, placement, and the body as a living, breathing canvas that is always evolving.
THE INTENTION
My mission is simple: to bring intention and care to the experience of being tattooed. Every person who sits with me deserves to feel safe, seen, and transformed by the process, not just the result.
This is adornment as empowerment. Mark-making as medicine. A practice that honors both the ancient roots of this art and the living, evolving person wearing it.
